Day 12 — AI Interview Prep: Get 10 Real Questions + Model Answers in Minutes (AI 1-Minute Challenge) — dailyskill.ai AI tips for beginners

👋 New here or behind? You don’t need to start at Day 1 — see today’s fresh picks → Today on DailySkill.

You have an interview next week and no idea what they’ll actually ask. Here’s exactly how to walk in with 10 likely questions — and a solid answer for every single one — before you finish your morning coffee.

Sound Familiar?

You Google “interview questions for [job title]” and get a list of 50 vague tips. Nothing feels specific to your role, your experience, or what the interviewer actually cares about. You end up winging it.

The 60-Second Fix

You need two things: the job title and one sentence about your background. That’s it. ChatGPT or Claude handles the rest.

Step 1 — Open ChatGPT or Claude

Free accounts work fine here. No special mode needed — this is a “quick mode” task that produces great results fast.

Step 2 — Paste this prompt

Fill in the brackets with your real details:

You are an experienced hiring manager. I'm interviewing for a [Job Title] role at a [type of company, e.g. mid-sized e-commerce company].

My background: [1–2 sentences — e.g. "3 years in customer support, recently moved into team lead role."]

Give me:
1. The 10 most likely interview questions for this role
2. A model answer for each one (3–5 sentences, first-person, confident but not arrogant)

Format: Question, then Answer, numbered 1–10.

Step 3 — Read, tweak, practice out loud

Skim the answers. Anywhere the AI used a generic example, swap in one of your real stories. Then read each answer out loud once — that alone beats silent re-reading every time.

Input filled in:
– Role: Marketing Coordinator
– Company type: a fast-growing SaaS startup
– Background: “2 years in social media management, just finished a Google Analytics certification.”

What the AI returned (sample of 2 out of 10):

Q3. How do you prioritize tasks when you’re managing multiple campaigns at once?
“I use a simple urgency-versus-impact matrix. Anything with a hard deadline and high audience reach moves to the top of my list. In my last role, we had three campaigns overlapping in Q4 — I built a shared Notion tracker so the whole team could see blockers in real time, and we hit all three launch dates. I’ve found that over-communicating early saves a lot of scrambling later.”

Q7. Why do you want to work at a startup versus a larger company?
“I genuinely enjoy seeing the direct impact of my work. At a startup, a campaign I run this week can influence next month’s revenue conversation — that feedback loop keeps me sharp. I also thrive in environments where the playbook isn’t fully written yet; I like building processes, not just following them.”

Specific, first-person, natural. That’s the bar you want.

Level Up

  • Add the job description. Paste the actual posting into the prompt and ask the AI to tailor the questions to it. The match gets noticeably tighter.
  • Ask for tough follow-ups. After you get your 10 answers, prompt: “For question 3, give me 2 follow-up questions an interviewer might push back with.” Great for panel interviews.
  • Run a mock interview. Tell the AI: “Now ask me these questions one at a time and give me feedback after each answer I type.” ChatGPT and Claude both handle this well.

FAQ

Can I use this for any job type?
Yes — it works for corporate roles, freelance pitches, internal promotions, even grad school interviews. Just describe the context clearly in the prompt.

What if the AI answers sound too polished or fake?
That’s your cue to edit. Use the AI answer as a skeleton, then replace the generic examples with your actual experiences. Takes 2 minutes and sounds 10× more authentic.

Is the free version of ChatGPT or Claude good enough for this?
Absolutely. This kind of structured, role-play task is exactly where both tools shine without needing any paid tier or special reasoning mode.

Today’s Check-In

Try the prompt with your next interview — or a role you’d want to apply for someday. Drop the job title in the comments and let the community know how specific the questions got. Did anything surprise you?

Tomorrow on Day 13: We’re switching gears entirely — tell the AI your fitness goal and your weekly schedule, and it builds you a complete 7-day workout plan on the spot.
