About dailyskill.ai

Most people only scratch the surface of AI. This site fixes that.

I’m Mark. I started dailyskill.ai because I kept watching smart people use AI like a slightly faster Google — and then give up when it didn’t work perfectly the first time.

That seemed like a waste. These tools are genuinely useful. Not in a “change your life” infomercial way. In a save-you-thirty-minutes-on-a-Wednesday way. But only if someone shows you the right way to use them.

So I started doing that. Every day, one skill at a time.

What I do here

The Daily Challenge is the core of the site. Each one is a hands-on task you can do in about a minute — using a real AI tool on a real situation from your life. Summarize a confusing document. Plan a week of meals. Get help writing a difficult email. See what your fridge can cook.

You don’t need to understand how AI works. You just need to try it once and see what it does.

AI Tool of the Day cuts through the hype. I look at one AI tool — what it actually does, what it’s not great for, whether it’s worth your time. Plain English, no jargon, no affiliate pressure.

AI Q&A is where I answer the questions people are actually asking: Is AI safe to use? Will it replace my job? Do I have to pay? Can I trust what it tells me? Honest answers, not marketing copy.

Who this site is for

Everyday people. Not engineers. Not early adopters. Not people with a tech background.

If you can send a text message, you can do everything I cover here.

The 100-day challenge is designed to take you from “I’ve heard of ChatGPT” to “I use AI every week without thinking about it.” Each post stands alone — start anywhere, skip anything, come back whenever.

Why I built it

I’ve spent years watching AI tools get better and better while the learning resources stayed stuck in a cycle of hype and jargon. Every “beginner’s guide” assumed you already knew what a prompt was. Every tool review was either an ad or a PhD thesis.

There wasn’t a place that just showed normal people how to do useful things. So I made one.

I don’t have a PhD in machine learning. I’m not a software engineer. I’m someone who learned how to use these tools, saw how useful they could be, and couldn’t stop showing other people.

That’s the whole thing.
